Jenny Prince

Communications Director

Jenny edits and produces our weekly podcasts and has put together many of our symposia sessions. Working as a freelancer since 2019, she joined the team as our Communications Director in January of 2024. Jenny produced the 2022 PBS documentary “Soul of the Soil” with filmmaker André Costantini, about organic dairy farmer Jack Lazor’s (Butterworks) switch from raising grain-fed cows to a 100% grass-fed herd. She went on to work as Butterworks’ sales manager, forging relationships with stores, instutitions, and distributors of all sizes. Having traveled the country selling photographs of her farm-themed dioramas for many years at street art fairs, she is now very happy to be back home in Vermont, where she breeds backyard chickens and creates recipes from her (ROP-certified) Sandy Bottom Farm CSA. Her side goal in life is to figure out the in-state production of organic buttermilk ranch dressing for Vermont school lunches - it’s its own food group, you know! - please reach out if you can help make this happen.
