Dickinson College Farm

Dickinson’s college farm is an eighty-acre, usda-certified organic farm and a living laboratory where students can gain distinctive, hands-on learning experiences. Student employees, graduate apprentices, and volunteers are involved in all aspects of food production at the college farm. Their efforts support the farm's 150 member csa, sales to the campus dining hall, participation in our local farmers' market, and campus eatery, farm works. Research at the college farm offers students and faculty a wide variety of opportunities for applied learning about renewable energy and sustainable agriculture providing unique insights into complex mathematics, the role of food in global politics, public art projects, religious philosophies and more.
