Jacobs farm was founded in 1980 by sandra belin and larry jacobs as a small organic family farm dedicated to growing fresh, high quality, delicious food without damaging the environment. During a trip to mexico in 1985, sandra and larry met a community of farmers in rural baja with whom they launched the del cabo farming collective. Four decades later, jacobs farm has expanded to include seven sites along california’s central coast and has become an industry leader in organic herbs, andthe del cabo collective provides organic farming training and sustainable quality of life to over 1,250 farming families within 14 communities. Our unwavering pursuit of social change in sustainable farming and business practices remains at the core of jacobs farm del cabo.
