Two Days, Two Gatherings In The Round Barn
Our beloved annual event is back – and this time Farmer Friday, with its focus on earning a good living through organic agriculture, is open to both farmers and citizens. Saturday starts with a main stage debate on climate: Eating the Earth: How Do We Feed Ourselves and Protect the Planet?
Is industrial farming with pesticides necessary to preserve more untended land as wild habitat? Or, can organic agriculture provide enough toxin-free food and biodiversity for all of nature to thrive? The day continues with debate responses, an in-depth interview with activist scientist Tyrone Hayes, short Ted-style talks, and intimate breakout sessions where attendees can ask questions.
