Danielle Allen is the co-owner and farm manager of Root 5 Farm, a certified real organic vegetable farm in Fairlee, Vermont. With a deep commitment to soil health, community resilience, and ecological farming practices, Danielle has been growing food and building systems that support long-term sustainability for over two decades. In addition to growing vegetables for over 450 CSA members and supplying wholesale produce throughout the Upper Valley, Root 5 Farm is home to Power Kraut, a line of probiotic-rich fermented vegetables crafted with care from the farm’s organic harvests. As a member of the Real Organic Project Standards Board, Danielle brings hands-on experience, a farmer’s perspective, and a strong voice for integrity in organic agriculture.
