Ole Brook Organics

Jesse Buie has been farming for 30 years and currently works as President/Farmer of Ole Brook Organics, Inc., which has been certified organic for over ten years. Currently, his farm produces mixed vegetables, melons, ginger and turmeric. He produces a private label certified organic tea for sale to local groceries and direct to consumers. Jesse currently serves as a certified mentor for the Southeast Region of the Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP). According to the USDA website, TOPP is investing up to $100 million over five years in cooperative agreements with non-profit organizations who are partnering with others to provide technical assistance and wrap-around support for transitioning and existing organic farmers. Jesse served on the National Organic Standards Board from January 2016 – January 2021.
