Kris Nichols

Dr. Kris Nichols is the Research Director at MyLand Company LLC in Phoenix; the founder & principal scientist of KRIS Systems Education & Consultation; Research Advisor with Food Water Wellness Foundation in Canada; Research Director with Carbon Sync in Australia; & is working with Dr. Arjun Makhijani, at the Institute for Energy & Environmental Research, combining Regenerative Agriculture & Renewable Energy (RARE) to reduce the economic risks in regenerative agriculture. Kris participates on the Real Organic Project Advisory Board; on the Savory Institute’s – EOV program Scientific Advisory Board; & a Soil Science Advisor with Health First. She was the Chief Scientist at Rodale Institute for over 3 years & a Research (Soil) Microbiologist with the USDA-ARS in North Dakota for 11 years. Kris has in Plant Biology & in Genetics & Cell Biology Bachelor of Science degrees, a Master’s degree in Environmental Microbiology, & a Ph.D. in Soil Science.
