Savannah of Flynn Farms grows in the beautiful Pacific Northwest on the outskirts of Bellingham, WA. This small-scale, organic mixed vegetable farm supplies for local CSA's, small markets, and non-profit organizations around Whatcom County. Flynn Farms recognizes the importance of local small-scale agriculture, and the impact of the local food supply little farms have. Creating a woman owned/operated organic farm business that encourages the youth, and young women to explore the field of agriculture is a key factor in this farm's ethos. Savannah (and the markets she supplies to) recognize the urgency to omit hunger poverty, on a local and global scale. To help do this it just takes 1 farmer, with a really big dream, determination, and a whole lot of resilience to make a small difference. Savannah has been WSDA Certified Organic since April 2017, and she is committed to her role in environmental stewardship as a small-scale organic vegetable farmer.
