Teresa Kurtak
Teresa Kurtak owns and operates Fifth Crow Farm along with her business partners Mike Irving and John Vars. She's been a farmer for over 18 years. Located on the cool and foggy Central Coast of California, the roughly 150 acre operation grows a diverse assortment of veggies, fruits, flowers, dry beans, and laying hens that serve several local farmers markets and almost 1,000 subscribers as well as restaurants and wholesale. She has served on the planning committee for the Ecological Farming Association, the San Mateo County Agricultural Advisory Board, as well as being involved in efforts to organize local like minded farms and ranches. She holds a masters in Social Documentary.
