Sanders farm is a family-run, diversified organic fruit and vegetable farm, nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of compton, in quebec’s eastern townships. Since 1974, russell pocock and thérèse shaheen have been pioneers in the growing and marketing of organic produce in quebec and beyond. Their produce is sold locally and into the united states through the deep root co-op based in vermont. On their 120 acre farm they produce each year 60 acres of field vegetables and strawberries as well as vegetable production in 9 greenhouses, all certified organic by ecocert canada.
